Privacy Policy

Smart Signal Digital ("we," "us") is a California-based consultancy that builds AI automation systems and provides digital marketing services for small businesses. This policy describes how we handle information collected through smartsignaldigital.com (the "Site"). Questions go to daniel@smartsignaldigital.com.

Contact form. If you submit our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — business name, phone number, website, what you need help with, and your message. The Site has no user accounts and collects nothing else from you directly.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the Site and protect it from abuse, as any web host does.

Contact form submissions are used for exactly one thing: responding to your inquiry and, if you become a client, providing the services you asked about. Submissions are delivered to us through workflow tooling we control (n8n) and our email. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.

The Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving, cookieless measurement tool. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build personal profiles. It gives us only aggregate counts — which pages are viewed, what site referred the visit, and coarse country and browser statistics.

Beyond that, the Site uses no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a local setting that remembers your theme preference. Because our analytics is anonymous and aggregate — no persistent identifiers, no cross-site tracking — the Site does not respond differently to "Do Not Track" browser signals; there is no individual tracking to turn off.

The Site relies on two third-party services:

• Cloudflare — hosts and serves the Site (your requests, including your IP address, pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure) and provides the Site's cookieless analytics described above.
• Google Fonts — the Site's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which transmits your IP address to Google when the page loads.

Each operates under its own privacy policy.

We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship, then delete them when they are no longer needed.

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email daniel@smartsignaldigital.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes (for example, adding analytics) will be reflected before they take effect.
